Description
Sweet and sour red onions are a typical Calabrian preserve, they are sliced into fillets and cooked slowly in a mixture of sugar and vinegar. Ideal for creating delicious appetizers and aperitifs, also excellent as a side dish for second courses and delicious in salads, stuffed sandwiches and burgers.
Format: 200g
Ingredients: Red onions, sugar, wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, salt, citric acid.
Onion origin: Italy (Calabria)
Storage: Store in a dry and cool place, away from sunlight or direct heat sources. Once opened, consume within a few days.
